The U.S. Department of Energy funds energy analysis activities and produces analysis resources. On the Energy Analysis website, energy analysts and policymakers can access energy analysis products related to renewable energy and energy efficiency, including published analyses, energy data and maps, and analysis tools such as models, software, and calculators.
In addition, you'll find relevant data and analysis information in these areas of the Office of Budget website:
Program Benefits Analysis
The Office of Budget performs public benefits analysis, which estimates the future benefits of EERE programs under the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) of 1993. While looking at projected benefits, this analysis also retroactively assesses the benefits of past program activities.
Data and Analysis by Program and Technology
While the Office conducts analysis related to benefits, markets, and policies, all of this analysis also has a relevance to a specific EERE program or technology. This area of the site can help you find analysis products by a program or technology type, rather than a general type of analysis.
