Office of Business Operations

The Office of Business Operations provides services to the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy's (EERE) assistant secretary, the program management offices, and others. The office is the central organization for all EERE business products, processes, and systems, including the key activities listed below.

Key Activities

Budgeting

Prepare budget and execute appropriations for Programs.

Information and Business Management

Provide collaboration between E-Government and program management systems, as well as other tools that help manage EERE's programs and its portfolio of projects.

Performance and Evaluation

Track and report departmental performance.

Project Management Support

Provide training and technical assistance to the project management offices.

Office of Business Services 

Provide leadership, policy guidance, and technical advice to EERE managers, supervisors and employees on a broad range of mission drivers including human capital, corporate learning, performance management, logistics, acquisitions, travel, and security.
