Biomass 2011 showcased an interactive exhibit hall, where participants got first-hand experience of the contributions of the Department of Energy's national labs along the entire bioenergy supply chain. Conference attendees were able to see and feel the difference between pelletized and densified biomass feedstocks; view an operational baler and resultant bales; watch a variety of biomass conversion processes; and even look under the hood of a green racing vehicle.
