Webinar on Computational Studies on Lignocellulosic Deconstruction
April 9, 2013
The Bioenergy Technologies Office will present a live webcast titled "Computational Studies on Lignocellulose Deconstruction" on Monday, April 15, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Eastern Time. During the webinar, Dr. Gnana S. Gnanakaran of Los Alamos National Laboratory will present on his team's molecular research on lignocellulosic biomass. The webinar will feature the laboratory's novel application of mathematical modeling and computational analysis to gain a better understanding of cellular and molecular biology. This approach provides one of the most in-depth looks at how lignocellulosic biomass functions, reacts, and changes.
1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m.: Presentation by Dr. Gnanakaran
2:00 p.m.–2:15 p.m.: Question and Answer Session
