DOE Releases Report on the Feasibility of a Dedicated Ethanol Pipeline

The Department of Energy today released the Report to Congress: Dedicated Ethanol Pipeline Feasibility Study, as required by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, Section 243. This study, conducted in consultation with the Department of Transportation, assesses the feasibility of a hypothetical ethanol pipeline connecting the Midwest, where most ethanol is produced, to large East Coast demand centers.
