Alliance Roundtable Information
The U.S. Department of Energy holds executive roundtables at the launch of each Commercial Building Energy Alliance (CBEA). These meetings help set the goals of the alliance and identify needs in the area of energy-efficient buildings. The following publications are available as Adobe Acrobat PDFs.
-
Retailer Energy Alliance (REA) Roundtable: REA launched on February 21, 2008. The roundtable explored the ways in which participants' companies are making energy efficiency work for customers, employees, and the bottom line—and the challenges they believe must be tackled to accelerate progress. Learn more by reading the REA Roundtable Executive Summary.
-
Commercial Real Estate Energy Alliance (CREEA) Roundtable: CREEA launched on April 9, 2009. Attendees shared information on the types of energy-efficiency activities their firms have implemented, major lessons learned to date, and technologies field tested. They also discussed how CREEA and DOE could most effectively partner to further high performance commercial buildings. Learn more by reading the CREEA Roundtable Executive Summary.
-
Hospital Energy Alliance (HEA) Roundtable: HEA launched on April 29, 2009. Attended by healthcare sector leaders and DOE and national energy laboratory representatives, the goal of the meeting was to discuss how healthcare systems are currently managing energy use, challenges that are specific to the healthcare industry, and how HEA members can work with one another and DOE to lead the industry in energy-efficiency initiatives. The HEA Executive Summary describes the roundtable discussions.
