Refrigerated Beverage Vending Machines Energy Conservation Standard Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Public Meeting

This page presents meeting materials and information on how to submit comments for the energy conservation standard notice of proposed rulemaking (NOPR) public meeting for refrigerated beverage vending machines.

The purpose of this public meeting is to give the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) an opportunity to present its methodology and the results of the notice of proposed rulemaking (NOPR) analyses, and to respond to questions from interested parties. The meeting will also allow DOE to explain its plans for the remaining analyses supporting the final rule and to seek input from interested parties on its planned methodologies, assumptions, and data sources.

DOE must receive requests to speak at the public meeting before 4:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Please submit a signed original and an electronic copy of statements to be given no later than 4:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, June 10, 2009.

How to Submit Comments

You may submit comments electronically, by mail, or by courier. Wherever possible, comments in the electronic format should carry the electronic signature of the author. Absent an electronic signature, comments submitted electronically must be authenticated by submitting a signed original paper document.

All comments submitted must identify the Refrigerated Beverage Vending Machines Rulemaking, the Docket Number, and Regulatory Identifier Number (RIN).
