Notice of Public Meeting on Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products and Commercial and Industrial Equipment

The Department of Energy (DOE or Department) held a public meeting to explore potential new products to be included in the existing appliance standards program and/or voluntary programs. The November 6, 2001, meeting was a continuance of the September 11, 2001, public meeting where DOE discussed the priorities of the existing appliance standards program, possible expansion of the scope of the program, and criteria and the process for applying the criteria in considering new products for either standards or voluntary programs.
