Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NOPR): Central Air Conditioner and Heat Pump

The U.S. Department of Energy published on July 25, 2001, a supplemental proposed rule and proposed withdrawal of final rule to consider amending the conservation standards for residential central air conditioners and heat pumps.

A public hearing for comments on the supplemental proposed rule and proposed withdrawal of a final rule has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 2, 2001.
