Fluorescent and Incandescent Lamps Energy Conservation Standard Framework Document
The Department of Energy (DOE) held an informal public meeting on June 15, 2006, as a first step in the rulemaking process to amend energy conservation standards for general service fluorescent lamps, incandescent reflector lamps, and general service incandescent lamps.
A notice of public meeting and availability of the Framework Document for these lamps was published in the Federal Register on May 31, 2006. DOE also prepared a Framework Document outlining the analytical approaches it intended to follow when conducting the energy conservation standard rulemaking. The Department initiated this rulemaking process to review, and possibly amend, the energy conservation standards for these products.
