Energy Conservation Standards Final Rule

The U.S. Department of Energy issued on June 26, 2009 a final rule, amending the energy conservation standards for general service fluorescent lamps and incandescent reflector lamps. The final rule also establishes energy conservation standards and test procedures for additional types of general service fluorescent lamps. The standards established in the final rule will be applied starting July 14, 2012.
