Microwave Ovens Test Procedure SNOPR and Active Mode Test Procedure Public Meeting

The purpose of this public meeting is to give DOE an opportunity to present its methodology and the results of the Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (SNOPR) analyses and to respond to interested parties questions for revising test procedures for Microwave Ovens.

This public meeting will also be a first step in considering the development of a new active mode test procedure for microwave ovens. DOE will work with industry and interested parties to discuss the various issues associated with the recently-repealed microwave oven active mode test procedure, and to determine if any test methods are currently available to address these concerns.
