Round Robin Testing – Battery Chargers

DOE has initiated round robin testing of battery chargers. Each test lab shall test the selected battery chargers in strict accordance with the test procedure indicated in Table 1, including all tests necessary to measure and calculate the key metrics listed in Table 1. Each participating lab will test the eight (8) selected battery charger – battery combinations in accordance with the DOE test procedure three (3) times for a total of twenty four (24) tests.

DOE is now accepting requests for test slots!

See Schedule below.

Schedule

Schedule updated 06-03-11.

DOE is currently accepting requests from test labs to participate in the battery charger round robin test study. Each test lab will conduct battery charger testing from the week ending July 15, 2011 through the week ending December 2, 2011. Each participant will be allotted four (4) weeks to complete all work on each battery charger/battery combination. The allotted time includes the period from receipt of test unit(s) to submittal of test reports and preparation of test unit(s) for shipment. All shipment locations must be within the U.S. or Canada.

Interested labs are encouraged to contact us (roundrobintesting@ee.doe.gov). Available test slots are listed as "open" in the schedule below.
