Building America/Builders Challenge at EEBA Conference and Expo
Representatives of the U.S. Department of Energy's Building America and Builders Challenge programs were in Denver, Colorado, September 28-30, at the Energy & Environmental Building Alliance 2009 Excellence in Building Conference and Expo. For all aspects of the homebuilding industry—architecture, design, manufacturing, etc.—the conference offered the very latest in green, sustainable building practices along with legislative updates and business opportunities.
On Monday, September 28, DOE representatives hosted:
- Builders Challenge Home Tour, "Beyond Just Energy: Quality, Durability & IAQ"—Hosted by Ed Pollock, Team Leader of DOE's Residential Buildings Research Team in the Office of Building Technologies. (8:00 a.m.–noon)
