Overview:
Fifty percent of all commercial fluorescent lighting fixtures are recessed troffers in 1'x4', 2'x2', and 2'x4' configurations, collectively consuming more than 87 terawatt-hours (TWh) of electricity annually. The Better Building Alliance High-Efficiency Troffer Specification Version 3.0, released on  February 15, 2012, addresses these troffer configurations, and when applied, is expected to save 15-45% on a one-for-one basis and up to 75% with the use of controls. On February 15, 2013, the BBA Lighting & Electrical Project Team will release an updated version of this specification for comment (Version 3.1). This webinar will provide an overview of key updates to the specification, outline the process for providing comments and feedback prior to its Final Release on April 1,  2013, and allow time for questions and answers.
