The Advanced Energy Retrofit Guides help commercial building owners and managers plan, design, and implement energy improvements in existing facilities. Each AERG is tailored to the needs of a specific building type, with an emphasis on the most effective commissioning and efficiency measures identified by experts familiar with the opportunities and challenges unique to retrofit projects. The guides present a broad range of proven practices that can help energy managers take specific actions throughout the various stages of the retrofit process, resulting in energy savings for many years to come. Advanced Energy Retrofit Guides are currently available for office buildings, K-12 schools, retail stores, and grocery stores.
This webinar will provide an overview of the Grocery Store Advanced Energy Retrofit Guide, which provides comprehensive analytical methods and data for calculating the cost-effectiveness of the highest priority measures that should be considered for a grocery store retrofit project. These methods are supplemented with: (1) examples using the Pre-1980s Commercial Reference Buildings; and (2) detailed case studies demonstrating how organizations have successfully implemented similar measures. The guides are available as free PDF downloads.
