The Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Neighborhood Program is hosting a webinar to discuss applications of The University of Texas at Austin’s Energy Poll on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM EDT. In this webinar, Director Sheril Kirshenbaum will discuss how residential energy efficiency upgrade programs can leverage insights drawn from the poll results. She will focus on consumer willingness to adopt new technologies, consumer values, trustworthy messengers, and more.

About the Survey
Since 2011, the biannual The University of Texas at Austin’s Energy Poll has measured consumer attitudes towards key energy issues, including climate change, energy efficiency, energy consumption, pricing, development, and management. The nationwide public opinion poll gathers insights and data which can be used to inform and guide discussions, business planning, and policy development for the administration of residential energy upgrade programs.
