Resources for State and Local Officials on Disaster Recovery

On this page you'll find links to regional and state-wide disaster recovery and building resources in the Gulf Coast region.

DOE is working closely with State Energy Offices in the Gulf Coast states and their partners to provide resources, training, and technical assistance as states work on disaster recovery and building reconstruction. These states are looking for ways to build and rebuild safer, more durable energy-efficient buildings and homes. A key component of each state's recovery efforts is partnering with the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges (NASULGC) and in-state extension services to provide training workshops on building and rebuilding with energy efficiency and storm resistance.

Officials of states and local jurisdictions will find the following regional and state resources helpful.
