Next Generation Lighting Industry Alliance (NGLIA)In 2005, DOE signed a Memorandum of Agreement with NGLIA, an alliance of lighting manufacturers formed to accelerate solid-state lighting development and commercialization through government-industry partnership. DOE and NGLIA recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding continuing their partnership into 2014. Learn more. |

Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES)In 2006, DOE signed a Memorandum of Understanding with IES, agreeing to work together on the development of strong lighting industry standards, including needed standards for solid-state lighting. In 2011, DOE and IES signed a new Memorandum of Understanding continuing their partnership into 2016. Learn more. |
