    Overview of two Roundtables hosted by DOE in Washington, D.C., in November 2009. Attendees from industry, universities, research institutions, and national laboratories were asked to provide insight on priority R&D needs, and this input helped to shape the MYPP update process and the 2010 version.   • Solid-State Lighting R&D Manufacturing Roadmap (PDF 1.53 MB)
    The end product of two stakeholder workshops sponsored by DOE in 2009, the Roadmap represents industry consensus on the expected evolution of SSL manufacturing, best practices, and opportunities for improvement and collaboration. (69 pages, September 2009)

  • Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) for General Illumination, Update 2002, An OIDA Technology Roadmap (PDF 1.9 MB)
    Updated SSL roadmap for LEDs provides quantitative enumeration of key technology targets, prioritization of research challenges, and key decisions related to competing approaches. Also discusses lighting systems issues necessary to achieve mass penetration of LEDs in the marketplace. Co-sponsored by DOE, NEMA, and OIDA. (112 pages, November 2002)

  • Organic Lighting Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) for General Illumination, Update 2002, A OIDA Technology Roadmap (PDF 1.3 MB)
    Updated SSL roadmap for OLEDs builds on the 2000 workshop, capturing updates from a second workshop in 2002 as well as some new information and detail on OLEDs. Co-sponsored by DOE and OIDA. (80 pages, August 2002)
