Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles Data Center

The Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles Data Center (AFDC) is a comprehensive Web site developed and maintained by Clean Cities. The AFDC is a clearinghouse of technical information, data, and online tools relating to alternative fuels and vehicles, hybrid electric vehicles, fuel blends, idle reduction, and fuel economy.

The AFDC was developed in response to the Alternative Motor Fuels Act of 1988 and the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. Its purpose is to provide unbiased information to fleets and the public and to support Clean Cities coalition efforts to displace petroleum in local communities.

This page lists key AFDC resources relating to Clean Cities five technology areas.
