ARAMARK delivers food, facility, and uniform services worldwide and has a large fleet of vehicles ranging from cars to delivery and service trucks. In 2011, the company deployed 78 hybrid electric vehicles in its ARAMARK Uniform Services (AUS) fleet. AUS also employs GPS devices and routing software to increase route efficiency, reduce travel time, and cut fuel use. ARAMARK is also achieving fuel savings through rightsizing, having deployed more than 200 Ford Transit Connect vans as efficient alternatives to larger vehicles.
