RFI: Light Duty Vehicle Hydrogen Fueling Infrastructure Financing Strategies

Open Date: 12/11/2013

Close Date: 02/28/2014

Funding Organization: Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy

Funding Number: DE-FOA-0001055

The purpose of this modification is to change the submission deadline for responses to this RFI from 01/31/2014 to 02/28/2014.

The Fuel Cell Technologies Office is a key component of the Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) portfolio. EERE seeks to provide clean, safe, secure, affordable, and reliable energy from diverse domestic resources, along with the benefits of increased energy security and reduced criteria pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions. The Department of Energy (DOE) seeks input on potential investment strategies from the business community and hydrogen technology stakeholders. Such strategies would address reduction in investment risk in a hydrogen supply chain, and enable robust market introduction of hydrogen supply, infrastructure, and fuel cell light duty vehicles (LDV) adoption. THIS RFI IS NOT A FUNDING OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT (FOA); THEREFORE, DOE IS NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.
