Clean Cities YouTube Channel Offers Videos on Alternative Fuels and Advanced Vehicles
December 18, 2012
Clean Cities has just launched its own YouTube channel, chock full of informative videos that provide insights on a wide variety of alternative fuels, technologies, and strategies that can help reduce petroleum use in transportation.
The Clean Cities YouTube channel features more than 150 videos, covering topics such as the safe installation of electric vehicle charging equipment; biodiesel production; propane-powered school bus fleets; and landfills that capture natural gas to fuel refuse trucks. Many of the videos were produced by local Clean Cities coalitions to share tips and lessons learned from successful transportation projects in communities across the country. Many others were produced by Maryland Public Television and originally appeared on MotorWeek, television's longest-running automotive series.
Videos on the Clean Cities YouTube channel are organized by topic into playlists, allowing viewers to home in on a particular fuel, technology, or other topic. Viewers can also search for videos by keyword, such as a particular geographical location, vehicle application, or type of fleet.
The Clean Cities YouTube channel makes it easy to share videos with others who may be interested in the deployment of alternative fuels and advanced vehicles. Other YouTube channels have the ability to feature Clean Cities videos, and viewers can embed Clean Cities videos, like the one below, on their own websites, blogs, or social media outlets.
