National Clean Fleets Partner: Staples
Staples has increased the fuel efficiency of its fleet by more than 20% since 2007 through fuel-saving strategies like automatic idle reduction, speed controls, and advanced driver training. The measures yield annual fuel savings of nearly 3 million gallons. In 2011, Staples started operating 53 all-electric delivery trucks in Ohio, Missouri, Oregon, Texas, Georgia, and California.
