Clean Cities University (CCU) provides online courses to accelerate the deployment of alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies by educating coordinators about petroleum-reduction topics and tools.
CCU is composed of three tracks, which contain a series of courses:
- Clean Cities' e-Tools
- Coordinator Professional Development
- Vehicle and Fuel Technologies
Requirements
Under the 2010 Coalition Support Contract, coordinators will be required to complete four CCU courses. Most CCU courses take about 30 minutes to complete, so the required CCU commitment is about two hours.
You can take as many CCU courses as you like. In the future, you will be recognized for going above and beyond the required course load.
Enrolling
We've set up student accounts for all coordinators. To access your account:
- Go to CCU.
- Choose "Log On" in the left navigation.
- Sign in as a returning user at the top of the page. Type in your business e-mail address and use CCU as the temporary password.
At this time, CCU is only open to Clean Cities coordinators. We will allow stakeholders to use it at a later date.
Getting Help
To ensure classes display properly, be sure to disable your pop-up blocker and use Internet Explorer 5.5 (or higher) or Firefox as your browser. At this time, Netscape and Safari are not supported. If you use a compatible browser but still have trouble, you may need to run a Java update. To do so, click the "Technical Specifications" button in the CCU left navigation.
If you need assistance, contact CCU.
