Coordinators should always have a list of potential projects to pursue in when funding opportunities arise. To search for funding sources, start with the Financial Opportunities page on the Clean Cities Web site. The following list features additional resources to pursue for project funding.

Get acquainted with your local Metropolitan Planning Office for information on partnering and funding opportunities.

Get to know the staff at your State Energy Office (SEO), which may know about or have access to funds. Visit the National Association of State Energy Officials Web site for a list of SEOs.

If your area is eligible for Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funding, but you're not sure how that funding is distributed, visit the CMAQ Web site.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Clean School Bus USA program provides regional funding opportunities for school buses. To learn more, find your regional EPA office on the EPA Web site and contact it to find out when a regional solicitation will be issued.
