Content Analysis

This page describes the best practices for conducting a content analysis on your site. A content analysis is an in-depth review of all of the content on your site.

The goal of a content analysis is to identify the top content problems on your site. A content analysis can help you identify content that should be retired or updated, content gaps, duplicate content, and other areas for improvement.

Here is an example of a high-level EERE content analysis to use as you consider doing in-depth analysis on your own sites (MS Word 207 KB).

Contact the EERE Web Manager if you have questions.
