Graphic Guidelines for Print Materials

This section describes EERE's requirements for print materials, including the required elements, templates, and program logos that must be used properly in EERE's print materials.

In August 2009, DOE/EERE launched a new identity system for all EERE communications products. This updated identity is designed to update DOE/EERE's look and feel, make the information accessible to a wide variety of audiences, and represent DOE/EERE as the federal government's premier authority on RE/EE technologies. It's flexible for programs and communication teams to implement while maintaining a consistent brand for DOE/EERE.

Acquiring EERE Approval

All new EERE print materials must be approved by the EERE Office of Technology Advancement and Outreach.

To receive approval of your proposed print materials, please send a JPEG or PDF of it to Scott Minos, who will review it and provide any necessary feedback to ensure conformance with the design guidelines.

Any questions about the new identity system or any of the required print elements should also be directed to Scott Minos.
