Navigation and Common Terms

Site navigation is a crucial element in every website. Depending on the template, sites may have horizontal or left navigation.

When adding or changing navigation for your site, you have two options:

• Select commonly used navigation labels from the library of approved navigation labels.
• Propose unique navigation labels.

EERE requires all navigation changes and additions be approved by the EERE Template Coordinator.

It can take up to 5 business days to get approval for new navigation.
