Web Governance

Web governance is providing leadership and direction for the EERE Web site by applying the Office of Management and Budget's Web policies, DOE and EERE Web standards, and overseeing the appropriate application of quality assurance, information architecture, templates, and branding to create a unified, high quality site.

Unlike Web project management, Web governance refers not to managing or maintaining a specific site, but to communicating standards and policies to the site owners, contractors, and IT specialists who work on the entire EERE enterprise.

EERE Web governance is handled by the EERE Web Enterprise Manager, Sarah Kirchen.
