Idaho National Laboratory
Idaho National Laboratory Internship
Idaho National Laboratory internships are about gaining experience - at work and in life. INL interns don't spend their time making dual-sided copies or the perfect cup of coffee for their boss. They get paid to work on real-world projects under the guidance of mentors who are experts in their field.
Research Experience for Undergraduates Accelerator and Nuclear Physics
The REU program provides research opportunities for college and university students in accelerator physics and nuclear physics. Student researchers will operate with well-guided independence to contribute usefully to advances in superconducting RF structures, novel accelerator design, and particle detectors. In some cases students will be co-authors on resulting publications.
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Berkeley Lab Undergraduate Research
Participants work with scientists and engineers on projects related to the Lab's research program. Typically, BLUR participants are students at partnership schools or have an established relationship with Lab scientists and funding sources have been identified.
Industry Initiatives for Science and Mathematics Education
Berkeley Lab partners with Industry Initiatives for Science and Mathematics Education (IISME) to provide summer science research experience. Berkeley Lab partners with Industry Initiatives for Science and Mathematics Education (IISME) to provide summer science research experiences for teachers. IISME is a one summer program with the possibility of a repeat appointment.
Los Alamos National Laboratory
Summer of Applied Geophysical Experience
This educational program introduces students in geophysics and related fields to hands-on geophysical exploration and research. SAGE is open to undergraduate and graduate students, including US and foreign participants. Students should have a quantitative background and some introduction to geophysics, though they need not be geophysics majors.
Undergraduate Student Program
