Federal Fleet Management
FEMP provides guidance and assistance on implementing and managing energy-efficient and alternative-fuel vehicles within Federal fleets. Specifically, FEMP helps Federal agencies meet new fleet management mandates, including recent requirements for agencies to reduce petroleum consumption by 2% per year through fiscal year 2015 relative to the fiscal year 2005 baseline. FEMP also facilitates a coordinated effort to increase alternative fuel use by 10% per year relative to the previous year.
