Federal Interagency Energy Management Task Force

The Federal Interagency Energy Management Task Force (IATF) was created by the Federal Energy Management Improvement Act of 1988 to address energy issues affecting Federal facilities and operations.

Composed of Federal energy managers, the IATF provides analysis and recommendations surrounding legislation, technical issues, and the implementation of Federal energy management activities. The IATF establishes working groups to resolve specific technical or programmatic issues and to develop new initiatives. It also serves as a forum for sharing lessons learned across Federal agencies.

Members

The IATF is composed of Federal energy managers, members of FEMP, and industry participants. A full list of IATF members organized by agency is available.

Meetings

The IATF meets quarterly to discuss energy issues affecting Federal facilities and operations. Detailed notes from each meeting are available.
