Senior Energy Officials

Executive Order 13423 requires each Federal agency to designate a senior energy official, at the Assistant Secretary level or above, to ensure that agencies meet Federal energy management goals and requirements. This group of officials meets periodically to bring high level attention to energy management and review agencies' progress in meeting energy management goals.
