Awarded ESPC Projects
Since the inception of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs) in 1998, 285 DOE ESPC projects have been awarded. More than $2.78 billion has been invested in Federal energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements. These improvements have resulted in more than 351 trillion Btu life-cycle energy savings and more than $7.3 billion of cumulative energy cost savings for the Federal Government.
