GSA Blanket Purchase Agreement for Comprehensive Professional Energy Services

February 25, 2010

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) offers a streamlined services acquisition process to help Federal agencies achieve their energy, greenhouse gas, and water conservation goals. The Comprehensive Professional Energy Services (CPES) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) was established on December 31, 2009, by the GSA and helps agencies and departments:

Services that can be acquired with the CPES BPA include:

Estimated period of performance dates are subject to change based on the date of BPA establishment. The number of BPA holders, including small businesses, currently varies from 15 to 18 companies per region. Multiple vendors were awarded for each region, which helps keep prices competitive. The contracts use performance-based metrics to measure contractor performance at both a BPA level and at the task order level. A list of vendors is available on the BPA Holders page.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was passed into law on February 13, 2009 and provides 32 Government agencies and departments with more than $53 billion to create a greener environment. The Strategic Sourcing Aisle on GSA Advantage (login required) provides agencies with ordering and pricing information related to the CPES BPA.
