Updated Guide to Purchasing Green Power Now Available.

An updated edition of the Guide to Purchasing Green Power is now available on the FEMP Web site (PDF 2 MB). Download Adobe Reader.  

The updated publication was produced through collaborative efforts among the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Green Power Partnership, the World Resources Institute, and the Center for Resource Solutions.  

The guide now includes the latest information on purchasing green power, renewable electricity, renewable energy certificates (RECs), and on-site renewable generation. It provides information about the different types of green power products, the benefits of green power purchasing, and how to capture the greatest benefit from a green power purchase.
