Richard Kidd Named FEMP Program Manager

DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) recently named Richard Kidd as Program Director for the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP). Mr. Kidd’s appointment is effective July 7, 2008.
Mr. Kidd comes to FEMP from the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs at the State Department, where he most recently served as an Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary. Prior to the State Department, Mr. Kidd spent six years as the Tajikistan Country Director for the United Nations World Food Programme. Mr. Kidd graduated from the United States Military Academy in West Point and served in the Army for five years. He received an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
Mr. Kidd takes over from Scott Richlen, who had been serving as FEMP’s Acting Program Manager.
