Registration Opens for National Renewable Energy Conference

DOE and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on July 25th that registration has opened for "Advancing Renewable Energy: An American Rural Renaissance," the national renewable energy conference that the two agencies are jointly hosting in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 10-12, 2006. The conference discussions will focus on biomass, wind, and solar technologies, with the goal of creating and strengthening partnerships and strategies for commercializing and distributing the technologies. Attendance is open to the public, and anyone interested in renewable energy is encouraged to attend. All attendees must register, including press, who may attend without charge.
