WAPA Offers to Purchase Renewable Energy Certificates for Federal Agencies
April 2, 2009
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) and the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) would like to assist Federal agencies in meeting the Energy Policy Act of 2005, Section 203, renewable energy goals. WAPA can solicit renewable energy certificates (RECs) for your Federal agency through this partnership. More information on this service is available online.
If you are interested in being part of this solicitation, please complete and sign the Statement of Intent (Word 68 KB) and fax or e-mail it to Paula Fronk at 801-524-5017 or firstname.lastname@example.org no later than April 30, 2009. An interagency agreement will then be prepared between WAPA and your organization.
