New Updates to FEMP-Designated Efficiency Requirements

FEMP recently updated its efficiency requirements for the following product categories:

• Air-cooled electric chillers
• Water-cooled electric chillers
• Fluorescent luminaires.

In addition to these updates, FEMP made a number of other acquisition guidance updates in the last half of fiscal year (FY) 2012:

• Exterior lighting
• Computers
• Displays and monitors
• Imaging equipment
• Refrigerated beverage vending machines
• Hot food holding cabinets
• Air-cooled ice makers.
