State Incentives Database Now Includes Energy Efficiency

The Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy (DSIRE)—the one-stop source of information on government and utility incentives and policies for renewable energy—is now also your source of information for energy efficiency incentives. The North Carolina Solar Center, which manages the DSIRE Web site, announced on March 7th that DSIRE has expanded to include state and federal incentives for energy efficiency upgrades; purchases of energy efficient products or systems; and construction of new energy efficient buildings. There's no word yet on whether "DSIRE" will become "DSIREEE." DSIRE is a project of the Interstate Renewable Energy Council and is funded by DOE.
