Subscribe to RSS Feeds
FEMP RSS (real simple syndication) feeds track news and events from the Department of Energy (DOE) and other sources, making it convenient and easy to stay up-to-date with the latest FEMP happenings.
How do I use RSS?
The first step is to download and install an RSS reader, which aggregates and displays chosen RSS feeds in an easy-to-read format. RSS readers subscribe to chosen feeds, automatically checking for new items. New items are displayed within the RSS reader as a title and short description. If the item is of interest, a link connects you to the full article.
Google's News Reader Directory provides a list of free and commercial aggregators. Several Web browsers feature integrated RSS readers, as does Microsoft Outlook.
How do I subscribe to the FEMP RSS feeds?
With an RSS reader installed, click on the links below to open the appropriate feed. If your RSS reader is configured to open feeds automatically, the news should appear in the reader. If not, and all you will see is a bunch of code. Copy, paste, and enter the feed URL into the RSS reader's subscription area.
