The program areas of the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) focus on specific energy management actions to help Federal agencies deploy the available technologies appropriate for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation projects. Current FEMP program areas include:

Information on the Laboratories for the 21st Century (Labs21) program is also available. This FEMP partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency aims to reduce Federal laboratory energy use by $18 million annually.
