Federal Operations and Maintenance Working Group Resources

The Federal Operations and Maintenance Working Group assisted in developing the following resources to help Federal agencies meet operations and maintenance (O&M) best practices and requirements.

• Federal Operations and Maintenance Working Group Charter: Draft charter establishing goals and structure for the Federal O&M Working Group.

• Energy Savings Assessment Training Manual: Practical and hands-on guide to conducting an energy savings assessment model within the Federal sector.

• Metering Best Practices: Guide to achieving utility resource efficiency featuring information about energy and resource metering at Federal facilities, including metering requirements under the Energy Policy Act of 2005.

• Gas Metering Justification: Report outlining the justification for gas metering within Federal facilities.

• Steam Metering Justification: Report outlining the justification for steam metering within Federal facilities.

• Water Metering Economics: Report outlining the economics for water metering within Federal facilities.

• Best Practices in Existing Building Commissioning: Presentation given at the Spring 2010 Federal Utility Partnership Working Group (FUPWG) meeting.

• Best Practices in Commissioning Existing Buildings: Guide to commissioning existing buildings as defined by the Building Commissioning Association.
