Combined Heat and Power Screenings

FEMP offers combined heat and power (CHP) screenings to assess potential application at interested Federal sites. The initial screening (recommended for facilities with significant thermal power needs and more than 1 megawatt of average electric demand) helps determine if more detailed analysis for your facility merits further consideration.

Sites with CHP potential and strong agency commitment can request additional services to verify the feasibility and move forward with CHP projects.

To obtain a quick screening report for your site, submit the Excel form (Excel 56 KB) to Melissa Madgett by e-mail at madgettmg@ornl.gov or fax at 685-574-3851. Be sure to indicate a contact person for your facility.
