FEMP sets Federal purchasing requirements for energy efficiency in product categories commonly purchased by Federal agencies. Products meeting these requirements fulfill FEMP-designated product requirements. Please note that FEMP does not endorse specific products.

Product Categories

The ENERGY STAR® program provides additional guidance for some products not listed. Federal buyers should consult the ENERGY STAR website about these products.

Low standby power product procurement requirements are available separately through the FEMP Standby Power Data Center.
