FEMP Designated Product: Showerheads

Federal agencies are required by the Instructions for Implementing Executive Order 13423 to purchase WaterSense labeled products where applicable. Version 1 of the WaterSense Specification for Showerheads went into effect in February 2010.

FEMP discontinued its product designation and purchasing specification for showerheads to avoid duplicating efforts and to simplify the Federal procurement process.
