The following parking lot and structure lighting case studies are offered from DOE GATEWAY solid state lighting demonstration project reports. These demonstrations showcase high-performance LED products for general illumination in a variety of commercial and residential applications.

NAVFAC Engineering Service Center Parking Area Lighting: Overview of how LED technologies provide effective and efficient parking area lighting at the NAVFAC Engineering Service Center.
LED Parking Lot Lighting - Walmart, Leavenworth, Kansas: First new construction to use the LED Parking Lot Performance Specification developed by the DOE Better Buildings Alliance (BBA). Application included LED lighting with metal halide wall packs installed along the building façade.
LED Parking Lot Lighting - Raley's Supermarket, West Sacramento, California: Several metal halide luminaires were replaced with new LED luminaires incorporating bi-level operation (dim state and full state) controlled by motion detectors.
LED Parking Structure Lighting - Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC): With an eye on replacing its aging stock of luminaires campus-wide, PPMC evaluated energy-efficient lighting options and replaced several high-pressure sodium fixtures in the hospital parking structure with LED luminaires.

LED Parking Lot Lighting - Manchester, New Hampshire: In a shopping plaza parking lot in Manchester, New Hampshire, high-pressure sodium and metal halide luminaires were replaced with LED luminaires controlled by integral occupancy sensors that vary between "high" and "low" light output settings.
